Nevada Public Radio ended the fiscal year on September 30 with un-audited revenue over expense of $144,000 and a net gain in audience of 12,000 listeners.
The corporation is funded by the federal government and distributes government money to public radio and television stations across the country.
The CPB report was commissioned out of a concern that, although public radio audiences and revenue was on the upswing, operating expenses, special programming expenses, were growing faster than revenue.
