I'm trying to decide whether it is worthwhile to spend the extra money on a Digipack CD case, or if the expense is unjustified because they just aren't 'all that' compared to the standard jewel case in the minds of you, the consumer.
One contactperson added off the record that they were "currently looking into it but that customers should not expect to see a refund as stealing is never refunded".

Darksynth is a generally dark form of electronic music, distinguished from Darkwave one the one hand and Synthpop on the other by degree -- Darksynth is not as dark as Darkwave and is generally more catchy and consequentially more accessible to the general public.
Much of what used to be called "New Wave" (although this term is also used as a catch-all for other types of generally non-mainstream 80s music) is Synthpop, and Synthpop from the 1980s often dominates "80s Retro" nights.
To try to combine two crowds by announcing one style and playing something else is to limit your business to only those hardy souls who like both styles or who don't care one way or the other, while most of your customer base has gone elsewhere or has just gone home.

 What is Industrial Music?
The process itself of creating industrial music often involves taking raw materials (samples, soundbites) and manufacturing them into a new and more complex machine.
So "industrial music" is just another term that becomes only a point of reference; it suggests general sounds and techniques and perhaps a processed/automated character of the music, but beyond that it is purely relative.
A few years later, composers including John Cage and David Tudor began using variable speed phonographs, amplified household objects and radios as primary instruments in their work.

You may have seen these guys at Lollapalooza: they were the hybrid musical/performance art troupe who used lots of flame-throwers and had a mechanized animal from Survival Research Labs on stage with them.
Like a long lost Throbbing Gristle album, this CD includes many of their live favorites along with some wholly experimental sounds.
Their shows were always mind-stretching and wild, but the real surprise is how much strange, intense music was in them.
