 Employment Act - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The original bill, called the Full Employment Bill of 1945, was introduced in the House as H.R. 2202 and introduced without change by Congressman Wright Patman in the Senate as S. The bill represented a concerted effort to develop a broad economic policy for the country.
The Employment Act of 1946 was a definitive attempt by the federal government to develop macroeconomic policy.
The Act requires the President to submit an annual economic report within ten days of the submission of the national budget that forecasts the future state of the economy, including employment, production, capital formation, and real income statistics.

 DTI Employment Relations - Employment agencies Act 1973 and Regulations
The Act applies to employment agencies and employment businesses whether they are carried on by commercial concerns for profit or by non-profit-making bodies.
Under the Act an 'employment agency' is defined as the business of providing services (whether by the provision of information or otherwise) for the purpose of finding workers employment with employers or of supplying employers with workers for employment by them.
Employment agencies and employment businesses are prohibited from charging fees to workers for finding or seeking to find them jobs.

 The Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1967
Reasonable exemptions to the provisions of this section may be established by the Commission but only when the Commission has established a maximum age requirement on the basis of a determination that age is a bona fide occupational qualification necessary to the performance of the duties of the position.
(b) It is therefore the purpose of this chapter to promote employment of older persons based on their ability rather than age; to prohibit arbitrary age discrimination in employment; to help employers and workers find ways of meeting problems arising from the impact of age on employment.
The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission shall issue such rules, regulations, orders, and instructions as it deems necessary and appropriate to carry out its responsibilities under this section.
